What is included in a Kaufman’s Home Maintenance plan?
Kaufman’s Home Maintenance has put together several comprehensive preventive maintenance plans for residential homes. All preventive home maintenance plans first start with fire, life and safety issues and then expand out to cover other issues of home maintenance.
The preventive home maintenance plans are designed to completely ‘maintain’ a home from top-to-bottom, inside-and-out. It covers all home maintenance which is defined as: the observation of all systems, adjusting, cleaning, lubricating, tightening, general servicing and extensive reporting. Our goal is to keep a home operating and functioning according to its intended use.
All plans have been developed from many years of professional experiences by Kaufman Homes’ field technicians discovering many costly consequences of homes that did not have a consistent, scheduled preventive maintenance plan.

Our Home Maintenance plans provide an option that has never before existed… the option to outsource home maintenance to professionals who are solely dedicated to the single competency of residential maintenance. Kaufman’s Home Maintenance plans provide a simple way to hand over much of your ‘to-do’ or ‘honey-do’ list to professionals.
Seniors who want to stay in their own home but are at a point in life where they’re ready to let someone else deal with the physical and mental demands of maintaining their home. Kaufman’s Home Maintenance plans provide a much needed solution for aging seniors, especially in those situations where the care-giving children have relocated to different parts of the country, or world and their parents need some help taking care of their home.
Children of Aging Parents will often purchase a Kaufman’s Home Maintenance plan for their parents. These plans are a way to ensure your parent’s home is properly maintained while providing a healthy and safe environment for aging parents. If you find a need for a major repair, does Kaufman’s Home Maintenance perform the repair work?
Kaufman’s Home Maintenance technicians can do small repairs as they make their scheduled monthly or quarterly stops. On larger or more extensive needs, Kaufman’s Home Maintenance technicians can, with your permission, document and take photographs of the need and turn it into the repair department and then manager of that department will give you a cost to do the repair. The goal of Kaufman’s Home Maintenance is to provide as many services as we can to take those worries away from you. On items that Kaufman Homes cannot provide, such as: electrical, plumbing, heating, etc., we will have a list of preferred providers who have been selected from Kaufman Homes’ many years of experience, and provide the scheduling and managing of those services.
I own a new home, why would I need your service?
Owning a new home is even more of a reason to take advantage of Kaufman’s Home Maintenance plans. A new home is one of the largest investments people make in their lifetime. These Home Maintenance plans will keep all of the new components of your home working smoothly and safely. By utilizing proper maintenance now, you will avoid any nasty home inspection surprises should you decide to sell your home in the future. There is no better time to begin maintaining your home’s value, safety, and appearance than when new.
Does someone need to be home during the service call?
No, it is not necessary for anyone to be at home during a quarterly or monthly service call, as the contract will specify whether we have permission to go in your home and the method of access. A Kaufman’s Home Maintenance representative will contact you 48 hours prior to our scheduled appointment to confirm that we are coming on schedule.
